About Us

Our Passion, Our Products:
From the very beginning, our goal was to create candles and wax melts that not only capture the authentic scents of the seasons but are also genuinely good for you and your home. That's why every product we make is soy and vegan-friendly, crafted with only the highest quality fragrance and essential oils. As proud pet parents to two cats, a dwarf hamster, and four rats, we're definitely pet people! This means we've gone the extra mile to ensure that most of our scents are pet-friendly, so fellow animal lovers can enjoy our aromas without any worries.

Our Growth, Our Journey:
By the Pines started, as many small businesses do, right in our kitchen. It was a cosy beginning, but soon enough, our passion and growing inventory demanded more space. We then moved our operation into our small bedroom, which quickly became packed with wax and wicks. As demand continued to grow, we expanded further, taking over our second bedroom. Each step felt like a huge milestone, a testament to how much our dream was growing. Now, we are incredibly proud to have our very own candle studio. It's a space we've poured our hearts into, and it truly feels like the perfect home for By the Pines.

Along the way, we've had the immense joy of building a truly wonderful community of candle lovers. Connecting with all of you, sharing our seasonal inspirations, and seeing our products bring warmth to your homes has been incredibly rewarding. We're also thrilled to share that our hard work has been recognized! By the Pines was recently featured in 'Your Home' magazine for our beloved "Walks in the Forest" candle, which was a huge moment for us.
